Heike Faller was born in 1971 and studied at the German School of Journalism in Munich. She worked for »Brigitte«, »Geo« and the »SZ Magazine« in New York and Hamburg. Since 1999 Heike Faller works as an editor for the section »Leben« of the weekly newspaper »Die Zeit«. She was awarded the Axel Springer Prize in 1997 and the Emma Woman Journalist Prize in 2006.
