Helmut Kuhn

Helmut Kuhn was born in Munich in 1962 and lives in Berlin. He studied History and Journalism at the Freie Universität in Berlin and at the Sorbonne in Paris. He worked as a reporter, editor and free lance author in New York and Berlin, collaborating with Aufbau, mare, »Stern«, »Focus«, »Zeit«, »NZZ« and the »Jüdische Allgemeine«. Besides his various volumes with narratives, novels and specialized books, he has co-authored the book of Murat Kurnaz, Five years of my life. Helmut Kuhn obtained the Hansel-Mieth journalism prize, the scholarship for literary studies Kunstraum Syltquelle and participated in the Ingeborg-Bachmann literary contest.
