Danijela Pilic was born in Split in 1971, Croatia, where she lived till the age of 9. She came to Germany in 1980, studied Writing at the Middlesex University London and worked for several lifestyle-magazines. She was editor at large at Vanity Fair in Berlin, where she is living. Currently she is working on her first novel.
