Hans G. Raeth was born in 1965 and studied Philosophy, German and Psychology in Bonn. He worked for several years as a free lance journalist, especially as a theatre critic in the Cologne and Bonn areas and was a free lance corrector for the WDR (West German Radio), as well as free lance playwright at the Bonn Theatre.
From 1994 to 2003 he was responsible for personnel, marketing and communication in a publishing house that operates in Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Since 2004 he works as an independent author.
