Edgar Rai was born in1967, was expelled from several schools and spent a year in America. He studied musicology and English in Marburg and Berlin. He worked as a scriptwriter, basketball coach, choir director, craftsman and online editor. Since resigning from the only permanent position he ever had, he works as an independent author.
