Roger Repplinger was born in Stuttgart in 1958, studied in Tübingen and wrote a PhD in Sociology on the notion of crisis in August Comte. Since 1982/83 he writes about sports for the daily papers in Stuttgart, nowadays also for magazines and newspapers throughout Germany. He was awarded numerous prizes.
