Sven Stricker was born in 1970 and grew up in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He studied Comparative and English literature and modern history. Since 2001 he works as a freelance text director, adapter and author and in this function won the German Radioplay Award several times, most recently in 2009 for his radio play adaptation and production of the novel Herr Lehmann by Sven Regener. His first novel Böses Ende (working title) is expected to be published in spring of 2013 at Polaris. Sven Stricker lives in Potsdam and has a daughter of 2.
