Heike Faller was born in 1971 and studied at German Journalism School in Munich. She worked for Brigitte, GEO and the SZ Magazin in New York and Hamburg. Since 1999 Heike Faller works as an editor for the section Leben of the weekly DIE ZEIT. She was awarded the Axel Springer-Preis in 1997 and the Emma-Journalistinnen-Preis in 2006.
