Katja Schönherr – born in 1982 – grew up in Dresden. She studied journalism and cultural studies in Leipzig as well as creative writing in Bern.
In 2008 her guide 18! Was du darfst, was du musst, was du kannst was published by Eichborn; in 2016, the third, completely updated edition appeared.
For some years now Katja Schönherr has been living in Zürich. She organizes and moderates literary events and works as a free-lance writer for Die Zeit, NZZ am Sonntag and NZZ-Folio. Her debut novel will be published in autumn 2019 by Arche.
