Kerstin Schweighöfer

Kerstin Schweighöfer studied Romanic literature, political sciences and art history in Munich and is a graduate of the Henri-Nannen-Journalistenschule in Hamburg. Since 1990 she lives as a freelancer correspondent in the Netherlands and works, among others, for ARD broadcasting studios, Deutschlandfunk, magazines Focus and Art.
Besides tulips, soccer, the royal society and Oranje fever, Rembrandt and progressive young architects belong to her daily bread; moreover social long runners like assisted dying, drugs and abortion as well as everything that happens at the International Court of Justice. Kerstin Schweighöfer lives in a small town in the surrounding region of Leiden.
