Ron Segal was born in 1980 in Israel. He is a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School of Jerusalem. His diploma film was shown on numerous international film festivals, the script written by him was honored by the Goethe Institute.
Ron Segal lived in Berlin from 2011 to 2013, where he received two DAAD-scholarships in a row: In the context of the first scholarship he wrote his novel Jeder Tag wie heute, during the second he worked on an animated movie based on the novel. Today, he continues working on the movie in Tel Aviv.
