Carsten Tabel was born in Friedberg/Hesse and works as an author, artist and filmmaker in Leipzig. He studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig and creative writing at the German Institute for Literature Leipzig. His work has been published in two collections by Lubok as well as in numerous artist monographies, exhibition catalogues and literary magazines. An excerpt of his debut novel Vier halbe Amerikaner has appeared in EDIT.
